Product Discription

Kisspeptin-10 (KP-10) is the smallest naturally occurring biologically active kisspeptin isoform derived from the KISS1 precursor. It contains the conserved C-terminal decapeptide sequence responsible for activation of the kisspeptin receptor, KISS1R (GPR54). Kisspeptin signaling is an important area of research in reproductive neuroendocrinology. Activation of KISS1R can stimulate gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons, providing a mechanism through which kisspeptin influences downstream gonadotropin signaling. The product is intended for qualified research environments conducting controlled investigations into KISS1R pharmacology, GnRH signaling, reproductive endocrine pathways, peptide-receptor interactions, and related laboratory models.

Key Features

Research-grade Kisspeptin-10 10-amino-acid kisspeptin isoform KISS1R / GPR54 agonist research compound Relevant to GnRH and reproductive-endocrine research Suitable for receptor-binding and signaling studies Intended for controlled in-vitro and preclinical research Appropriate for peptide characterization and analytical workflows Batch-level analytical documentation may be provided for applicable lots Research Focus Kisspeptin-10 has been investigated extensively as a regulator of GnRH and gonadotropin secretion. Experimental research has demonstrated that kisspeptin-10 can stimulate LH secretion and alter LH pulse dynamics, making it an important research tool for studying the hypothalamic control of reproductive hormone signaling. Current research also continues to investigate KISS1R agonists and antagonists, receptor activation mechanisms, and the broader role of kisspeptin signaling in reproductive physiology and endocrine biology.
